When you sign up for Bliish.gg, you choose a display name, username, and password (your password is hashed and we never see or store it in plain text). You also provide an email address so we can verify your account and contact you if needed. Optionally, you can add a profile photo, bio, or location. Everything you post (photos, comments, likes, and friend connections) is stored so that the service works as you'd expect.
Our servers generate technical logs when you visit Bliish.gg, which is standard for any website. These logs help us keep the service running and prevent abuse. IP addresses are used for rate-limiting and security, and are not stored in application logs long-term. We use analytics to understand how people use Bliish.gg, including page views, performance metrics, and in-app events such as posting or adding friends. This helps us improve the service. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or sell it to anyone.
Bliish.gg does not serve ads and will never sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. We do not build advertising profiles about you or monetize your attention. We use analytics to improve the service, but this data stays with us and our infrastructure providers. It is never sold, licensed, or shared for marketing purposes.
Your information is used to make Bliish.gg work: showing your posts to friends, delivering notifications, diagnosing technical issues, and keeping the community safe through content moderation. We also use anonymized usage data to improve the service. We do not use your data for advertising or any purpose beyond operating and improving Bliish.gg.
Bliish.gg uses a strictly chronological feed. There is no algorithm deciding what you see, no engagement-based ranking, and no machine learning model optimizing for your attention. Posts from your friends appear in the order they were published, newest first. Friend suggestions are based on mutual connections, not behavioral analysis.
Your profile, posts, photos, and all personal content on Bliish.gg are blocked from search engine indexing. We serve noindex and nofollow directives on all authenticated pages, and our robots.txt only allows crawlers to access public pages like the homepage and this policy. Your content will not appear in Google, Bing, or any other search engine results.
Bliish.gg never requests access to your camera, microphone, or location. These browser permissions are explicitly disabled at the platform level. The only location information on Bliish.gg is what you choose to type into your profile or posts. When third-party content is embedded (such as YouTube videos), we use privacy-enhanced modes that limit tracking by the embed provider.
We rely on a small number of providers to operate Bliish.gg. Vercel hosts the application and serves web requests. Supabase (built on AWS) stores your account data and handles authentication. Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded photos and media. Sentry receives error reports when something goes wrong, to help us fix bugs. Google provides optional sign-in and analytics tools. A separate provider handles automated content moderation (see below). Each provider processes your data only as needed to deliver their service. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google only handles the authentication step: verifying your identity so you don't need a separate password. Google receives no access to your Bliish.gg data: not your posts, your friends, your messages, or your activity. We only receive your email address and basic profile name to create or link your account. Using third-party sign-in is entirely optional.
To keep Bliish.gg safe, all user-generated content is screened at the time of posting using a free, automated moderation tool. This tool checks for violations of our community guidelines such as illegal content, spam, and harassment. Your content may be temporarily retained by the moderation provider for a limited period for safety monitoring, after which it is deleted. Your content is never used to train AI models. Content flagged by the system may be reviewed by our moderation team and removed if it violates our guidelines.
Your data is protected with industry-standard encryption both at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. Media files are stored on encrypted infrastructure. Access to user data is strictly limited to the small team that operates the service, and only when necessary for maintenance or moderation. Some security details are intentionally kept private. Publishing them would make the platform easier to attack. For specific questions about how we protect your data, contact us at hi@bliish.com.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Temporary technical logs are retained for no more than 30 days and then automatically deleted. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, and associated media are removed from Bliish.gg within 30 days. Content removed for violating our community guidelines may be retained for a limited period for moderation review, legal compliance, or to prevent repeat violations. All moderation actions are logged internally for accountability. Anonymized, aggregated statistics (such as total user counts) may be retained indefinitely.
We use cookies to operate Bliish.gg: session cookies to keep you logged in, a language preference cookie, and cookies set by our analytics providers to measure site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear all cookies at any time by logging out or through your browser settings.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can edit your profile information in Settings or request full account deletion from the Settings page. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at hi@bliish.com.
Bliish.gg is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete their data. If you believe a child under 13 is using Bliish.gg, please contact us at hi@bliish.com.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Bliish.gg after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: April 2026.
